We will talk about how Google introduced AI Mode and how it differs from traditional Search. AI Mode is a whole new ballgame and will, bit by bit, replace traditional Search. AI will answer most questions and when helpful, websites will be shown. Search live mode will change how people search as you can use your phone or eventually glasses to talk with Gemini about everything you see and Search about it. Agentic search will change how transactions work on the web, including how vacation rentals are booked. AI will search for you, make suggestions and then, with your permission, will buy things for you. Also, by this time next year Google + Walmart + Wing will offer drone delivery in several US cities. But this is just the beginning. Google’s ultimate goal is to build an AI assistant, not just online but for our everyday lives. DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis describes a system that will even predict what your needs are, and help wherever possible. A Google paper about Gemini Robotics shares how their ultimate goal is to provide intelligent robots that can assist us in our daily lives. And Google co-founder Sergey Brin says it’s impossible to say what the web, yet alone the world will look like in 10 years’ time. We’ll brainstorm together on how to adapt in this wild time of change.
